Project 1 — BIW Part Design

Portfolio

Practical experience creating and analyzing car BIW parts. Learn CAD modeling, structural analysis, and mechanical design for automotive engineering. Parts: Fender, Underbody parts, Upper body parts, Roof rails. Also covers door reinforcement, roof headers, and remastering.

Project 2 — Plastic Part Design

Design car door trim from stylish surface to closed volume (A Surface to B Surface and C Surface). Parts: Door Map Pocket, Door handle, Car Dashboard parts (IP), A Pillar, B Pillar. Also includes dashboard components, door panel trims, and center console.

Project 3 — Casting and Forging Design

Design casting and forging parts with draft angles, fillets and radii, wall thickness, ribs and bosses, mold parting lines, and process limitations. Parts: Vehicle Axle Design, Differential Housing Design, Wheel Rim Design, Bevel Gear Design. Also covers engine, powertrain, casting/forging components, domestic appliances, and rear axle and differential.

PLM Teamcenter — Release for Manufacturing

Release parts for manufacturing in PLM Teamcenter after completing project work.

Drawing fundamentals; engineering fundamentals; GD&T basics and application.

02 Domain Theory & Practical — Plastic

Plastic domain theory and practical covering automotive plastic components such as dashboard components, door panel trims, A pillar, B pillar, and center console.

03 Domain Theory & Practical — BIW

Body in White (BIW) domain theory and practical covering underbody parts, door reinforcement, roof headers, and remastering.

04 Domain Theory & Practical — Casting & Forging

Casting and forging domain theory and practical covering engine components, powertrain components, casting/forging components, domestic appliances, and rear axle and differential.

05 PLM Teamcenter Overview

PLM Teamcenter overview — release parts for manufacturing after project work.

06 CAD Software Training

Hands-on training on CATIA (Dassault Systèmes), Siemens NX, SolidWorks (Dassault Systèmes), and Creo (PTC).

07 Interview Skills & Mock Tests

Interview skills development and mock tests to prepare for placement and CAD hiring evaluations.
